Been on a bit of a BBQ bender over the last week...
It started with a to go order from ZZQ in Richmond, Va. for some Central Texas style Brisket and Turkey (no pictures)
Tuesday I went to another Richmond area BBQ joint Smoke Pitt Grill for some Brisket, Ribs, Pork and Sausage (my sister and I split the order)...

Thursday took a co-worker to ZZQ, it's a good thing I don't live in Richmond I would be like Norm if I did, for some Brisket, Ribs and Pulled Pork


Friday my dad and I headed to North Carolina and went to Sam Jones Whole Hog BBQ for some Pork, Ribs and Chicken...





Today, Saturday, we went to the Capital of Barbecue, Skylight Inn for some Whole Hog BBQ. Truly amazing experience, already planning a return trip...



Our final stop on Saturday before heading home was the Nahunta Pork Center. If it comes from a pig they had it for sale. I picked up some country bacon, fresh breakfast sausage, and side meat ribs. It was hard to pass up the 48 lb. whole hog for $86. The display cases only show about half of what is available.
