Disappointing, but I guess not too surprising that you have to 'pay to play'. I wouldn't pay for that crap.

There's a similar organization for hospitals called The Joint Commission for accreditation in healthcare. It's 100% just paying to be part of their club - they come through and point out all the things you're doing 'wrong' - 97% of which are ticking administrative boxes that actually do NOTHING substantive to improve patient care, but sure do make for a f***ing lot of jobs and work for administrators and bureaucrats. Screw them. What it EFFECTIVELY does is divert massive resources and money to being able to maintain and advertise "Joint Commission accreditation". It's a racket.
