    A world-class boulangerie/patisserie in our little town.

    Did I spell that right? I haven’t spoken French since 1967.

    Bobby Boy Bakery has been nominated for a James Beard award in the bakery category, which is a national, not regional, competition. I’ve been a patron of BBB since they opened and all their baked goods and pastries are phenomenal. Here is a pic of the latest pastry we got from there. On tops: Cherry pitted and left with a hole. Champagne grapes. Half cherry, dragon fruit that look,s like dice. Candied persimmon. All this sat on a strip of ganache. Inside, amazing French pastry crème.

    This was spectacular! If you’re ever in Winston-Salem, drop by for a visit. These guys are for real. I would easily compare them to Christophe’s Chocolatier in Charleston, SC.
