Brother Jimmy's BBQ. Put some South in yo mouth!

Situated across the street from Madison Square Garden, Jimmy's corner location is hard to beat. You can see the Garden from the restaurant window. The service was friendly and quick. My server was very willing to discuss menu items and beer selections. I had the BBQ platter with two selections of meat and two sides. I got ribs and brisket, with fried okra, and deep fried Brussels sprouts. The ribs were nice and smoky flavored, but a little bit too "fall off the bone" for me. Not a deal-breaker, but not so much my style. The brisket was supreme! Fork tender, juicy, and just the right amount of smoke. The fried okra was out of this world amazing. The Brussels sprouts were good, but next time I will order something else. Oh, and the cornbread was extra good!

Overall rating: 8 out of 10. Definitely worth a visit if you are in NYC!
