So i am looking for BBQ places in these areas. from this forum i have gathered the following:
St.Louis:
Bogarts
Pappy's
Kansas City:
Q39
avoid Jack's Stack's
JJ's if i want a nice night out and get steak with the wife
does anybody have anything to add? anybody from the area know a little place that most might not? i would think if people did they would have posted here already but i would like to ask. i don't want to go to BBQ heaven without any direction!
If you have the time while in KC, consider Kansas City BBQ Tours. You'll be chauffeured to 4 great BBQ joints in 4 hours. There are over 100 bbq restaurants in the metro area and ONE HUNDRED times as many opinions about "best and worst". Sounds like a great trip, have a good time and give us a report when you're finished.
