The last few places I've gone have no trays, just the bag.

To enter in the computer so as to track dining room usage. They use the info to determine staffing.

Very little staffing needed for a dining room when customers pick up their trash and toss it in a trash can. It's not like there is table service or servers attending to customers.

Good viewpoint, statistics. They matter in the long term, supposedly.

It is in a lot of places there is a difference in the sales tax if it's to go or dine there

Well, I’m ashamed to admit it but the last time I went through a fast food drive through I placed my order and added “to go” at the end. Doooh

If I go to hardees or bojangles and get a sausage biscuit or a bacon egg and cheese they will always ask if I want jelly. Just like putting it in a bag, I wonder if anyone eats jelly on a sausage biscuit!
