I thought you said a while back you wouldn’t go back in there because it had no smell of smoke? I’ve been to Dickey’s a few times, the one located in Lovefield Airport. Of the restaurants available to eat at, it’s one that has food that I can eat. I actually thought it was ok, not something I’d go to if I had choices but for having to find something to eat in airport, it worked.
Rib Crib is decent in the Clovis area, not great but decent. It’s been a few years since I’ve been out that way but I know there use to be a guy that made custom pits. Someone’s gotta be making good BBQ and selling on the roadside out there!

The Dickies owner is a friend of one of my close friends and wanted to give it a try otherwise wouldn’t have gone. My favorite two BBQ places is RISCRY'S BBQ in Fort Worth, Tx including Angelo’s BBQ
I haven’t been to Fort Worth since both parents have passed away six years ago and wasn’t raised in Fort Worth either. I like the city but wouldn’t want to live there.
We had a Dickies here for a few years. I also just tried it once. Kinda crazy how many people are saying they had one for just a few years, I don’t see how they’re still in business.
