      We canceled our NYE dinner with friends, and haven’t been out to eat in over a month. We usually go out once a week.

      Reported daily new cases in the county peaked at over 1000 about a week ago. They’re down to around 400 the last few days. We’ll probably resume regular activities when they get under 100.

      For comparison, they were single digits in June and July, and in the 20-50 range until late November, when they topped 100.

      We still do takeout, but that’s not the same. We want to get out and about again.

          These unsold high-end cuts are now sitting in the wholesale meat distributor’s freezer as the company awaits a change in demand.
          We found that many high end restaurants facing canceled reservations started selling "dinner kits" with 1/2 price wine pairings for relatively reasonable pricing vs what it would cost to eat at the restaurant itself. We took advantage of a few and enjoyed them tremendously. Predict the same opportunities will come from this as well.
