The lack of good barbecue in the Chicagoland area is what prompted this southern-grown boy to start smoking my own Q. Then JD's Q & Brew opened just a few minutes away from my house, so now I get the best of both worlds - homemade Q when I have the time and a good place to go out when I don't. And with their indoor smoker, the place smells like a slice of heaven.
