Hillery's BBQ, North Chicago

I used to work at the Great Lakes Naval Base and a really good lunch or dinner would be to go to Hillery's in North Chicago and have the rib tips with the hot BBQ sauce. Their cooking method was pure simplicity. Charcoal only. I have tried to duplicate the flavor for years and can't quite get it right. Also I have yet to find a sauce that was close to theirs.
