    Jamaican Soul Restaurant Savannah, GA

    Looking for some non BBQ love? We just ate at Jamaican Soul while doing some laundry. It us a small place in a strip mall. I had curried goat and collards, wife had jerk chicken and cabbage and carrots. Really, really good. If you are in the area, check it out!

      We have a large Jamaican population here in the GTA so there are many Jamaican jerk huts.
      But I'll be in Montego Bay on Monday for a week, first stop, the Jerk Hut for jerk chicken/pork and a Red Strip.
      Second stop Rice and Peas with ox tail....and a Red Strip.

        I cook quite a bit of Jamaican food (my rice and peas is actually awesome!) Also, there is a Jamaican hole-in-the-wall a block away from the Bronx courthouse that I take out from every time I go to court there

      When I lived in Jackonsville there were some very good Caribbean restaurants. Excellent goat, roast pork, and some chicken that was probably the best chicken I have ever tasted. Definitely not something we have up here in the Northwest.
