    BBQ in Tampa

There are a few really good BBQ places in Tampa. The best IMO is Holy Hog Barbeque. Link to website:

http://holyhogbbq.com/ Lots of 5* reviews on yelp. Ribs were very tasty and the brisket VERY tender

Another place is a hole in the wall in Brandon (just east of Tampa) called First Choice Bar-B-Que. Website link:

First Choice is a narrow place next to a sushi place and has no AC. I took my son a few weeks ago and the restaurant wasn't uncomfortable. Also gets a lot of 5* reviews on yelp. Their pulled pork (actually chopped) is tremendous.

There are few more places I will be checking out in the near future

I have no idea, they're actually up here in MI visiting for the summer. I'll ask. I'll update if I find anything out.

Recently went to Holy Hog because they were the only place around that does burnt ends! OBTW, they were a 60 mile drive from the house.... The burnt ends weren't as good as Jack Stacks in Kansas City, but the drive was a bit shorter!

Sho Gud on Armenia is very good. The brisket is better than Holy Hog. Here is their website: http://www.shogudbarbeque.com/
