Pronounced Booyah (Spanish), this is a wonderful tapas bar and gastropub. Mari Jo and I went there in mid June with Marlowe Resado, a two-time Grammy winning Latin musician from the Miami area (yep, I’m name dropping). He was the opening act at the Epicurean Hotel for the start of Restaurant Week in Tampa. He had been to the Bulla in Miami numerous times so was our menu foodie guide while there. Tapas may become my favorite way to eat after visiting Bulla.
We had the grilled steak, chorizo stuffed dates, ham croquettes, and montaditos tapas. Wow! What a pleasant gastronomic experience. Bulla is a regional chain so look for one near you.
