A bit far of a trip for some fish and chips, but I'd easily put it in my top 5 for a chip shop.





And then as a bonus we pulled way up the road to eat in our cars with a view

Looks great. Nothing like that around here. We do have a trailer that stops by here about 4 times a year with fresh fried cod and chips. The food is excellent and you have to get in line early.

Looks great. I love fish and chips but had to back off because of weight gains. Anyone else remember the Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips chain from the early 70’s?

Yep- thought it was the bomb when I was a kid.

We had them here in Florida as late as the mid 90's, I'm pretty sure. I think they were headquartered in Jacksonville.

We had Arthur Treacher’s and a similar chain called H. Salt. They were both great.

That looks great! Nothing out here like that. We have to make our own fish and chips. In fact I normally catch my own fish. The only saving grace in doing it yourself is the portion size can be as large as you want.
