I always liked OMalleys in Palmer Lake but it's not BBQ... lots of people hate it because they serve you raw meat. I always liked it because my steak always turned out perfectAte at The Famous in the Springs a few times and it was actually a really respectable steakhouse (with a killer salad
)... but not BBQ.
Seriously never ate any BBQ in the 8+ years I lived in CO other than what friends made.
I'm glad CO is getting some good BBQ but if I still lived there I'd be hitting up my favorite Mexican and Asian places and keep the BBQ in the backyard.

The last time I saw an article similar to this one the place listed in Colorado had gone out of business the year before. I will have to see if my brother and his friends have tried the one in Longmont since they live there.

Would be interesting to know if and how they rate. We had a BBQ open up here in Buena Vista, it lasted about six months. They were clueless unfortunately.

captainlee The consensus was that Georgia Boy's BBQ in Longmont is very good solid BBQ, but they prefer a place around the corner called Smokin Dave's. Of course, for them preferring another place could just mean the beer is colder or they have a better selection.
