Mercado La Paloma located near USC is a cool food hall. One of the tenants has already earned their second Michelin Star. We were there last week and watched it happen. We had no idea, so it was an added bonus to our day. Lots of excitement. I’ve watched this market evolve from half flea market to respectable food hall.

Conchita Pibil FTW! Served with black beans and rice. That habanero salsa was awesome! And a tasty jamaica to wash it all down.

Those beans look divine, the food scene sucks so bad here. We got a food hall 20 minutes away about a year ago that was promising, but has devolved into basically a mall food court and all the exciting non-chain places left.

One thing I really miss about CA, there were always amazing food options even at swap meets/street fairs.
