I decided to skip the breweries today and go for a burger. This place had good reviews, and it was packed at lunch time so I stopped in. The burgers were just ok - they had a good crust, but they were overcooked for my taste. They don't ask how you want it. You get what you get (or maybe not, I didn't ask, but I didn't hear anyone say i want mine medium). The fries were great though. They give you a piece of waxed paper, and a server walks by with a bowl of them right out of the fryer and put them on the paper. The first pic is of a meat case when you walk in.
This last pic is specifically for SheilaAnn Ketchup. Ummmm

Let me go on the record here…… I detest ketchup on hot dogs, burgers and eggs.
I barely tolerate ketchup on fries, but it’s usually doctored up with Tabasco or pick-a-pepper. and I certainly don’t douse the fried potatoes as shown above.
That said, BF found an arrabiatta ketchup from Rao’s. Spicy AF!

LA Pork Butt that's pretty common around here.

LA Pork Butt If I had an order of fries, a chocolate frosty, and some ketchup, the fries would be dipped in the frosty and the ketchup would feel neglected. It's just that good.

- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
Great looking burger. Looking at your picture, and the crust, as well as the burger pictures on their website, that appears to be a double stack of smash burgers. Being smashed on a griddle would explain why they don't ask how you want it - they will ALL be well done when cooked that way. No way to measure temp in that cooking technique. If you want medium you gotta go for a steakhouse style thick burger patty.
That said - I would eat that for sure! Making me hungry and I am still on my first cup of coffee!

Very good thinking on their part delivering fresh fries from the cooker. I detest it when a burger joint delivers a nicely prepared burger with a pile of room temperature fries........you just know they dished up the fries at the beginning of preparing your burger and they sat there cooling off until the server was alerted. Grrrrrrrr.........
