I was looking for a bite and ran across a brewery. No question, right? I had a love honey bock that is brewed with local honey. It was pretty fine, not too sweet, dark and smooth. Like... I also had a trash panda IPA (not pictured) that was not as good; too much citrus. Food was a jalapeno pimento cheese with pita chips and pickled veg, and a hot honey chicken sandwich with collard and cabbage slaw. The cheese was pretty good, kind of light on the jalapeno. The sandwich was good to but the chicken was fried a little too hard. The slaw was excellent. Collards and cabbage? What?

My uncle used to live in Malvern. He used to run a three story department store back in the 60's and 70's in Little Rock. Closed down in the late 80's (I think). Nice find on that brewery. I haven't been there since I was a teenager back in the early 80's. There was a restaurant he took us to that was built into a cave (I think it was called The Grotto?). And I remember visiting some natural hot springs. Not sure if that was in Little Rock, though.
The coolest thing was all the crystals and flint I found on his property. As a "rock collector/Arrowhead collector" of sorts I was in heaven.
