Big Bob Gibson's - Decatur

Big Bob is known for his famous barbecued chicken topped with his secret recipe spicy white sauce. I ordered that, along with a 3-meat sampler consisting of brisket, pulled pork and pork ribs and a choice of two sides. I got fries and barbecue beans. Everything was outstanding. I was stuffed. Big Bob has two locations in Decatur. The one on US 31 is the original.

It's really good and pick up some bottles of their BBQ sauce. The habanero is my favorite.

Would love to make it there sometime, I ordered his first cook book along with a bottle of the white sauce last month. Love the cook book - ( I have Meatheads on order also ) - the white sauce is gone? Cooked two spatchcocked chickens one with the sauce one without. The balance of the sauce went to the chicken without. ( on the side )
