#2 got me to thinking about a gripe.

Has anyone noticed the overused dining-out tropes, like "Oh excellent choice, sir", and "Your food will be RIGHT out", or my least favorite, the waitress that says ""Perfeeeeccctttt" when you order something? It annoys me. If you're a waiter/waitress/server, we well know you say that to everyone. You really don't need to say that even thought you're taught to. Just stop already.
