I got their 3 piece "Essentials Knife Set" recently and for the price it was pretty good. I didn't really care for the chef's knife but the serrated knife and paring knife were very good. The chef's knife just didn't feel "fast" when cutting or chopping. The serrated knife had a good, stiff blade and easily cut through some crusty bread without having to squish anything and the paring knife felt great in my hand.
No idea how the blades hold an edge but it seems like they are made out of decent steel. Probably not the knives you want to buy if you are looking for really good knives but they are a great set to throw in the camper or to take camping or that sort of thing. And they would be a great set for someone just moving out of the house or a newly married couple or something along those lines.

The edge on the chefs knife is a funky angle. I could never sharpen it where I was super happy with it until I got the WorkSharp. It's still not my favorite budget knife, but it's alot better than other "budget" knives I own once you figure out the edge angle that works best for you. Since it's not my go to knife, I can't give a realstic edge life, but I've had the WS since the start of COVID and haven't had to resharpen anything other than a mid-range Whusthof pairing knife I use all the time -
Also I actually LOVE the Misen Paring knife, I use my Whustof one as a steak knife and the Misen for actual kitchen work

ItsAllGoneToTheDogs I have a Worksharp E5 I need to run the chef's knife through and see if I can get it a bit better. It is decently sharp but just doesn't have quite the feel I want.
