Food Lion 99 cents per pound boston butts

Didn't see this advertised, I went to one store and wiped out their stock for something I'm cooking tomorrow and it was marked 2.12 a lb. Rang up at .99. Went to another store in same county different town to get the rest of what I needed and it was a different brand butt, and marked on the packaging the sale price of .99 per pound. Worth a look if you have one near ya.

Thanks. Didn't even notice this while at Food Lion today. Will need to check it out tomorrow.

Like I said, the one store wasn't marked on package or the isle. The other store was only marked on the package. Worked out great for me, I needed 8+

Whenever they go on sale fer ¢99 / lb., I usually load my truck up to where she's squattin on th back springs....

Sometimes, I make a 2nd trip. if'n my deep freeze ain't already too full...

A few weeks ago was at Kroger and they had some butts on sale. I don't remember the per-pound price, but the packages were around 15 lb. each and were between $6 and $7. I got some really odd looks rolling up to the check-out with a buggy stacked high of pork butts with one half-gallon milk jug resting neatly on top, I bought every package they had available and if I recall correctly, I spent around $150.

Just went to mine and they were out. They did say they would have more tomorrow. Not sure about your local but they said mine gets meat delivered early.

Scored! Now figure out where to put them. Lol. Got to get there early. Was hoping for individuals vs twin packs but I can live with it.
