Received an email this morning from ThermoWorks. 30% off on BBQ kit that includes Smoke 2, Thermapen Mk4, BBQ brush and silicone hotpad. I was just about to buy a Smoke 2 anyways, great timing.
If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
BigBry note that it is the original Smoke, not the Smoke X2. Nothing wrong with the Smoke - I've had one for several years - it just has some range limitations that I find annoying, due to living in a 75 foot long brick ranch with too many walls between the smoker and the rooms I am often in.
