Notable market specials in the greater Charlotte NC exurb - check your local sales flyers as well (YMMV).
Well, Halloween is about here, and there are Candy and Decor specials everywhere you look, so I'm not looking. LIDL, bless them, has jumped over all this and has begun their Christmas push with lighting, decor and ornaments.
ALDI, for their part, is probably overcompensating with an astonishing array of meat specials (and not-so-specials). I find it hard sometimes to get excited about prices that are up 50-75% over 2 years ago, but this is the field we're playing on. It's worse in Europe, and even worse beyond that, so I'm counting my blessings right now.
Right now, I'm in Phoenix, seeing my brother. He's doing well, but is struggling a bit to stay relevant in a vastly volatile work field. He's in IT, as am I, and it's crazy in there. I find solace in grilled food. He finds solace in fitness training, and has a coach online to yell at him for eating delicious food. I'm trying to show him how to cook really good foods that won't wreck his diet, but he's worried about salt. I just tell him to drink more water and it will pass.
