It's been great having my son working in the meat dept at Costco for the past several months. (He's worked at Costco for several years, just changed departments.) When there's a really good deal, he tips me off. As of today, raw chicken tenders in the bulk pack are discounted $7 off for the pack. Price per lb is $5.99 IIRC, and packs are around 4 lbs each.The $7 discount is applied at the register. The discount is per pack, not per lb, so effectively you are getting a little over a lb for free.
This is not a 1-store clearance, so should be at most stores but may vary by location.
Chicken tenders is what I use for things like chicken florentine and chicken piccata. Work much better than regular chicken breasts. How long is the sale on for?
