That also means some good specials this week on most of our favorite meat categories. There are good deals all around, especially on ribs and assorted sausages. Everybody has Seedless Watermelons featured, plus - aw shucks! - earns of corn as multiples for the dollar!
And of course, one must mention the source of this holiday, which is remembrance of the lives lost by our servicemen while defending our nation through the centuries. They are why our nation is great, has always been great, and is still great, despite what some salesmen would have us believe. (Notice I didn't say 'perfect' - it isn't, but we are pretty great.) So don't forget to have a moment of silence for those who've sacrificed for us, but not so long that what's on the grill might burn.
