B&B at Walmart again

I just picked up 2, 17-pound bags of B&B briquettes from Walmart online for $9.97 each. The site said limited quantities. Good deal if you are in need!

Opposite of my experience. That last big sale a year or so ago I ordered 12 bags. Walmart shipped it twice for a total of 24 bags. Customer Service told me to just keep the extra 12 as they didn’t want to pay for the return shipping.

I’ve almost never had a problem. I always buy cowboy online as getting to Walmart from where I am is not a fun prospect. The one issue I had was when they only sent me half a two pack and let me keep it after giving me a refund.

I have no idea if it works other places but I added two of the 20 pounds of B&B lump to my Walmart grocery order last week. They delivered it with my groceries! How cool is that?

Might have to traipse out to Walmart and see if the same deal is offered there. Last time I visited, there was zero B&B to be seen.

I just checked B&B lump on my Walmart app. It was there and said delivery was available. It worked.

I am happy to report, the bags were gingerly laid on our front porch. As opposed to being tossed from the walk and crumbling to bits.

Just ordered six bags, delivery set for later today, free of charge. I have not had any probs with delivery, the bags have thus far always arrived intact. We'll see if that continues...

I might pick up three or four bags - I've got WM+, so it's another reason to get a delivery order put together. I always have to remind myself and actually USE it instead of forgetting all the time and just stopping in, which always drives me nuts. I'm getting old, I don't LIKE going places anymore - and WM is one of those that are high on my list.

Unfortunately , one never can tell the condition of Lump charcoal or, when along the delivery chain, the bags wwere mishandled. A bag of Lump is "like a box of chocolates" ...you know the rest.!

Welp, my six bags arrived a few hours after I ordered, stacked neatly on my front porch by the delivery driver. Doesn't get much simpler that that. No notes.
