Well, we made it through the Spring Holidays, and have emerged into the light again. Pickings are a bit weird this week, while we're all recovering from Ham and Lamb overload. At our place, I made a delicious Lamb Roulade by deboning, stuffing and rolling up some Lamb Breast Plate, and slow-cooking it until tender. Very nice, and my wife is always happy to have lamb on the table. (She grew up in a Scandinavian family, and lamb was a staple there. Good times, long gone.)
This week, everyone (except LIDL) has put their Butt on the line.
Harris Teeter is leading at 99 cents the pound, but the Lion and ALDI aren't far behind at $1.79 and $1.99 respectively. FL also has $6 Beef Chuck, one of my favorite cuts to do things with.
