Well, the great St. Pat's Corned Beef Derby is winding up this week, and all entries are in. Food Lion trails with $5.99 / lb, Harris Teeter just ahead at $4.99 / lb, LIDL at $3.99, and ALDI the winner at $3.49 / lb (although this is a split decision: ALDI's flats are still $5.49 / lb). This might be the best pricing we'll see for this for some time. I've stocked up, and this weekend I'll be making pastrami!
