Oh, don't get me started. It's been a frenzied couple of weeks, what with two weeks of severe winter storms, the winter Olympics starting up, and to top it all off, the Super Bowl. Last week, the stores were full of 'tailgate' party specials, but this week? --no, they're all taking a rest. There are still some decent values out there, but we're focusing on Valentine's Day, what with flowers and heart-shaped candy assortments. I won't cover those here, except to say that the candy always goes half-price the day after, which is when I usually go get some.
As for the Super Bowl, it was an entertaining game, with some good commercials, and a variety of halftime shows to choose from. I ate far too much munch.
