And oh here we are again in Advent, and a bit of a lull. on the specials front. I think it''s because each chain's Specials Team was off for Thanksgiving, which is probably their lead time for this week. But elsewhere, things are on the move.
One of my daughters will be graduation from college next week. She already has a job offer lined up, but is going this week to interview for a competitor. Another daughter is driving down from Wisconsin to visit for a week or so; we hope we'lll see her for a bit. (She will also be seeing all of her friends from high school and college. We're a convenient place to stay.) I've got a big music concert at church this weekend; I sing in the choir. There's another even bigger one, a concert service, two weeks after that. Also, my wife and I will be backstage assisting at a local music event in there as well. I tell you, Christmas never quits.
Until it does, and then it's done Life is like that.
