So it's September at last (yes, I know it's almost two weeks in, but) and finally the fall schedules are starting to get established - or we''ve entered free fall, with no direction whatsoever. For us, it's a little bit of both - the kids are long gone and grown, so there's no school schedule - but we do have to negotiate our way around the school buses, which are looking a bit less lost by now.
For me, church choir is back on full rehearsal schedule, with a Holiday music already looming (we will spend several months preparing all that). Karin is busily helping at the local rec center, where she teaches crochet, and tutoring local school kids as needed. So we're busy.
Life is good.
