We have passed the Memorial Day event, and now pivot toward Graduation Day (which has already happened in many places, but I guess). To celebrate our graduate (relatives? children? firends? students?), we will of course have all the same things that are on sale at any other time around this season, but with graduation mortarboards on them. This is the way.
Still the one that caught my eye is at Food Lion, which is BOGO'ing Oscar Meyer Wieners! Either $2 a package or $3 for the beef ones (yum), this is a good price for stocking up. They freeze extremely well, and can be the answer to that need to grill something quick any time of year.
After that, we're heading up on Father's Day, which always brings a twinge of sadness for me; I never know what he wants, because he's dead. Oh wait! I'm the Dad now? Then why am I still making all the food?
