    Not a bad deal.

Here is another deal that might be even better. It has wireless probes and got top billing from Best Wireless Meat Probe Thermometers. Available on Amazon today at $76.49 (2 probes) or $189.98 (4 probes).
Amazon.com: ThermoPro TempSpike 1000FT Wireless Meat Thermometer Digital with 2 Upgraded Ultra-Thin Probe, Kitchen Food Thermometer for Cooking/Oven Safe/Smoker/Rotisserie/Sous Vide/Stove/BBQ Grill: Home & Kitchen

I'm leaning heavily towards a wireless probe upgrade.

One of the nice things about ordering from Amazon is the Asurion Insurance that you can get on a lot of electronic gear. On this package, a 3-year coverage is offered at $9.99. I've used it in the past and all I had to do was tell them it stopped working and they sent me a credit to my Amazon account. Knowing in advance that 90 plus percent of this stuff comes from China and can fail early makes the insurance buy a good bet.

Me too, or three. I use the plug-in probe with my pellet grill. But in doesn't reach into the kitchen.

I had a set of tempspikes, until I returned them because of the ever present odd ambient reading so close to the meat…

FWIW, I have never been disappointed by any of my Thermoworks gear.
