That's what I use as well, but many here still use the KBB I believe. I'm actually considering getting some just to use as starter charcoal for long cooks..

Finster that is one of the reasons I switched. KBB for me as a starter is way more smokey than Cowboy. If it works out for you that's all that counts.

It was a once in a lifetime buy, but our local Target had a bunch of summer stuff on clearance... I bought 13 19lb bags of Kingsford Original Charcoal for $3.50 a bag this past Oct. Also picked up a nice Blackstone set of spatulas and steam bottles for $5.99. That went to the brother-in-law for Christmas (he's got the Blackstone). Also picked up some long neck butane lighters for $1.50 each. The charcoal is lined up inside my shed like a charcoal army. I'll be haunting that store next year...
