I have Paprika for Android and IOS and use an iPad in the kitchen. Is there a benefit to having it on a PC? Does the PC version have different or more functions?
Not sure (I use a PC all the time) but as I do not have it loaded. I’m a die hard ipad user when I am not working and use the app while in the grocery on my iPhone. I think you are in good shape @SandPiper
That said, how does the app compare between iOS and android? I want to get it for my sister who sports a Moto 5G.
SheilaAnn , the Android and IOS versions have the same functionality. They all synch seamlessly. We actually have Paprika on My Android phone, my wife's cell phone and an iPad. It sounds like I don't need a 4th version on a PC.
SandPiper The Windows app and the Android app have pretty much the same functionality.
I have the Android version on my phone and the Windows version on my laptop. I use the Windows version for saving and managing recipes, setting up shopping lists, and managing my inventory because I like the bigger screen and I'm more comfortable using a keyboard as opposed to typing on the phone. Additionally, I find adding things and moving meals around to be easier on the laptop because it's mostly drag-and-drop. I use my phone when I'm in the kitchen cooking.
Everything I do on my laptop syncs automatically with my phone. I got the app for my wife's phone, too, and she uses the same account I do. That gives us a shared grocery list, meal plans, and pantry inventory. It's pretty handy.
You answered most of my questions here - syncing and sharing on multiple devices. I already have it for my phone, though I've never bothered to use it. I think getting it for Windows is a good idea, since I'm on here constantly. Then I can share with my wife and we will no longer have to be sending each other grocery lists when one of us goes to the store. lol
