In the final approach to a Major Food Holiday, the stores are nearing fever pitch. There is more than I can easily summarize here, but it's worth it to stock up on things when this prices are this good. I recently dug a turkey out of the freezer from last year, and it was as delicious as if it had been fresh bought. (Frozen. I did cook it.)
Some of these flyers are good for longer than the week ahead. Food Lion is holding these prices through Thanksgiving Day, and they will open until 3PM. LIDL's flyer is good through the 27th. Harris Teeter is open on T-Day until 2PM.
Publix (not listed here) still has 39-cent turkeys (limit 2) with no minimum purchase.
