Fresh Market - $7.99/lb NY Strips

If you have The Fresh Market nearby, my local one at least ran a special over the weekend, valid through Tuesday 10/22, for USDA Choice NY strip loins at $7.99 per pound if you buy a whole or half. On the weekend, they would cut it into steaks for you for free, but I don't think they do that except during special "event hours".

I didn't see the email until this morning, and on my lunch hour ran up there, saw one in the case, and asked the butcher, and that was the last one he had left. So I walked out with a full 14+ pound NY strip, which I will slice into steaks and vacuum seal one day this week. I had texted my son about the deal, but then had to text him "Never mind" as I bought the last one they had, haha....

I also picked up a pack of their "prime pork" tenderloins, as those are half price (BOGO per pound) on Mondays.

So they ran this sale again this weekend. I was in there just for coffee, but this happened. I just had them trim and cut the steaks

Looking good! Yeah it’s in effect again until Tuesday. I think the cut and trimming is just on Saturday.

I seriously just want in for coffee. Almost $200 later... I have a love/hate relationship with the Fresh Market

Fresh Thyme is a regional market very similar. Same type of sale., Strips $7.99, and Rib Eyes.
I picked up 5 packages of there bacon, $3.99 per LB. There is about 3 LBs per package. If you have not tried it, take a chance, it is thick sliced. And some of the best. Better than Wrights, and less.
Picked up a 4 pack of there Rib eyes, Not too good will not buy again.
They also had chuck roast on sale, one fell into my cart. It was very good.
