Local warehouse sale for igourmet…

When I went to the gym his morning, a stack of this flyer was at the check-in counter:



Notice, it doesn’t say “Up to…”, it says “50% or more!!” This is their warehouse location:



It’s about 3 miles from my house, and about 100 yards from my gym. Innovative Gourmet is these people:

They are internet only, the warehouse doesn’t have a retail store. I don’t know if they are closing the warehouse, or moving it, or going out of business, or whatever.

Edit: it looks like Innovative Gourmet has been sold, and the Pennsylvania facility is not included in the sale.

I’m just wondering how much I should budget for next Saturday.

Looking at the website, a lot of what I like is cheese (obviously), and that product is hand cut. I’d be guessing they are selling full wheels etc of cheese. I’m not sure I want 5 or 10 kilos of cheese.

If it’s Parm, a whole wheel of cheese will not likely go bad, but get better with age. If kept properly, i guess.

There's nothing quite like the thrill of the hunt, especially when it involves gourmet food including cheeses. Be the first one there! But don't look back because your wife will be at the door, shaking her head as she watches your taillights disappear down the road so early in the morning. The fact that you need no more goodies should remain irrelevant.

The flip side with stuff like this is that the best deals are in the last couple hours, usually after noon. I’d have to want something that not many others want, though. I will say, I didn’t share the flyer locally….
