If they have it? I went to ALDI yesterday and they didn't even seem to have an empty shelf whre it could have been. I'll have to keep going back.

ALDI didn't have the pork belly when I went there, but they DID have lamb breast plate leftover from last week's sale at $3.29 / lb. As far as I can tell, it's like the lamb version of pork belly. I bought some and now I have to figure out what to do with it.

And yes, the next ALDI I went to (different neighborhood) did have the pork belly, and I got some. Nicely trimmed and ready to go. It’s packaged as “for burnt ends” but I don’t think it will object if it gets used other ways.

Really, this is the first time I’ve seen Pork belly under $6 / lb in years. I might get more.

I rarely shop at ALDI, but i will check them out for some Pork Bellies like those. Love me some pork belly burnt ends!
