Blue Hog BBQ sauce deal at Walmart

It’s not an incredible deal but a good deal. 3.5 oz. little bottles are only $1. That equates to 21 oz. for only $6.

It is a great sampler price. Don’t you hate it when you have buy a large bottle to sample it and it is a bust!

That’s exactly what I was thinking. It’s happened countless times! But also, how many times have you wanted to try a sauce, but held off because you already have too many bottles? It happens to me pretty much every single time I go to the store.

Mosca Variety is the spice of life, but not being a big sauce guy the frig can fill up quickly.

Obviously, I haven't tried all the brands of sauce in the world, but of the couple dozen I have tried, Blues Hog sauces are the best I've tried so far.

Yes - Tennessee Red, Wild, and Raspberry Chipotle.

I really like the Raspberry Chipotle on pork. Ribs in particular. Yum.

I doctor it up with a little more pureed smoked chipotles in adobo sauce since its so sweet. It is fantastic over spare ribs or pulled pork sandwiches.

They've had all these sampler sized hot sauces and BBQ sauces and condiments at Walmart since back in November.

My wife got some for stocking stuffers this year, but one of my son in laws got me a 2 gallon bucket filled to the top with every single sampler he could find at Walmart - I think it had on the order of 35 to 40 different BBQ, hot and ketchup bottles in it. I've been enjoying busting out the 3 ounce bottles gradually to try different sauces, without having to buy full bottles of them all. I've had all the Blues Hog stuff before, but will use those samplers when I get ready to make some ribs or something.

From my sampler bucket in the pantry, I've found that Yellow Bird makes some insanely hot sriracha style hot sauces! And Melinda's Jalapeño ketchup is way way way hotter than the Heinz "Spicy" ketchup.

I was just at Walmart, and saw them in a display by the meats. Perhaps I should go back...
