The last ribeye roast I bought I snagged at work Costco. It was prime and it was a steal. Bought in June last year. We’re heading to the lake house again in Wisconsin so I’m not sure what we’re cooking or where we’re getting the food from. But thanks for sharing. I’ve always had good experiences with Mariano’s steaks. 🥩

Costco is usually $15 a pound for the prime ribs I think or around there. It is great, but I have to say, my choice prime ribs last year were amazing so happy to save a few bucks.

I bought one of those choice Jewel rib roasts last year and cut it into ribeyes. It was superb.

Agreed. Last time I did Jewel and Fresh Tyme and both were fantastic so happy to do it again.

This is good to know. My experience with Jewel meat is mixed at best.

Was at the butcher shop yesterday and saw an 11 lb bone in for only $315.00. You are doing well. Butcher shop raisers their own beef, everything is good there but that was crazy.

I got one from Mariano's yesterday for $5.99 for the third year in a row! It's our Christmas tradition. It's sitting in the freezer and will come out on Tuesday for consumption on Sunday!

10 minutes after I brought this one home it was confiscated for Christmas dinner, so I’m headed back to Jewel. I go back and forth on getting a meat fridge, but I’d sure like to fill one up with these…

Got a second one! This one was 20% cheaper than shown because of a pharmacy coupon for filling a bunch of prescriptions there! It is now going to be used for a Christmas party with friends and my first, smaller one that is already frozen will be more appropriately packaged for long term freezing and used later.
