You don’t get those kind of extras with just any ol’ smoker!

If I'm your secret santa I'll see if I can get you the grease bucket. You're on your own for the owner manual.

I spent at least $4000 on materials to get my baby up. Steel ain't fun to purchase.

I didn’t expect that high, given what LSG pricing is. I was perusing the pellets recently just to look. I know it’s not cheap to make as well.

When you only make ONE thing, you know it is going to be good.

I hate to even contemplate the freight to HI and AK.

Free shipping is a big deal these days for something this big and heavy!

At that price point, maybe an Annual Grand Prize?

I wish the water pan area was removable and that it came with a deflector plate and full width cooking grate. Sometimes I use mine for its full capacity, and this limited grate space isn't speaking too highly to me.

As much as I would not buy one of these, I celebrate his path to it. I wish him all forward success through his dedication at this level, he has set a bar in many respects of our craft,

Even though it’s pretty darn pricey it sure is beautiful.

I checked his lead time, says 1 to 2 weeks. If they're built to order (likely) that means he has little to no backlog.................understandable considering competitor pricing.

There was a lightly used one near me recently offered for $3500 that sat on the market for close to two months, so it has niche appeal within a slightly larger niche market.

              I am a proud owner of Serial# 50.
I got mine 12/2020, powder-coated in coal black, with the cover.
It is a beautiful machine that will last forever and does exactly what it is supposed to do.
The price is in line with other high-quality offsets.

              Haters gonna hate. 😎

Kudos to you sir. Franklin’s offset was not available yet when I bought my backyard Jambo in 2016. I like Franklin’s air flow design better than my Jambo, but has not really affected the results. Smoking 5-14 lb. Turkeys on Thanksgiving for a local free food event.

Have you smoked a whole pig on your Franklin?

TripleB - whole hog? not yet. Lots of brisket, butts, and ribs.
Love the Jambo pits. I really wanted a trailer model, but it was just too big. The firebox is only semi-insulated and there are no baffles anywhere, but the Franklin breathes well and produces sweet, clean smoke. It is high-maintenance during a cook, but that’s my thing. 😎
