    3.99/lb Brisket at Costco

I was comparing the prices for Brisket at Sam's club and Costco. Sam's club prime was $4.98/lb and choice was 3.98. At Costco the prime was 3.99 and choice was 2.99. I saw the message below and I went and picked up a Prime Brisket for about $53. There was only one Choice at my Costco but I had my pick of the prime. I don't know how long these prices will be there, but to get a prime for the price of choice at Sam's was a winner.

Nice! I grabbed a $2.99 choice one from my store. Lots of choice, but still no prime. Hopefully they are back to Chicago soon.

Still no Prime at my Costco. Funny thing is that prime packers were always cheaper than Choice packers…by about $2/lb!

They didn't have prime at my Costco last week when I picked up the choice that I smoked this weekend.
As juicy and tender as that choice one was, not having prime really not an issue for me... my .02

They haven't had prime at our CostCo in awhile, I asked the butcher last June about it & he told me they wouldn't be getting prime again, ever! I still keep checking though

Finally got a few prime briskets back in my Costco after several months. I did a couple choice ones from there in the meantime and I did notice a difference, which could be a skill thing on my part. Less juicy, but tender and tasty nonetheless (nothing a little sauce didn't fix). Glad to get the prime back at the same (or maybe a little less?) price of the last choice one I bought there though

I grabbed 3 choice briskets, they are never this cheap around me. 1 got ground into burger the other 2 are going in the smoker

Heading to Costco today. My watch puked n I want to see what is avail. Last time I was there they had a dzn med-small Prime brisky but they wanted $4.49 pound. Kroger lately has not been much better. I will give a full report. Still anxious to do a bris on the new stick burner.

H‑E‑B in Houston will have some fluctuations but generally decent prices and a good selection.

$2.99 is great for brisket, even if it's not prime (I guess it's not 2019 anymore). But at various grocers around here it's common to see sale prices for chuck at much less than $6.99.

My Costco in Gig Harbor Washington had choice briskets available for 2.99 last week(picked up two) and this week prime is available for 3.99 and noticed choice up to 3.79. Picked up another small prime because my wife thought it was a good idea 😊

I went there last night in Niles. $3.99 for prime. My office Costco only has choice. I actually wanted some beef plate ribs but they were $7.99 lb. So I ended up buying a small brisket since is was like $30 cheaper than ribs. It’s on the smoker as I type this.

No prime here either. Got a choice and smoked last weekend and then chili with the leftovers. It was pretty good.
