- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
Man - I am fixing to spin a couple of chickens on the rotisserie this afternoon, and one of these would be ideal, versus my normal technique of spin for 45-60 minutes, then I have to stop and check with the Thermapen every 5-10 minutes until done...

So I purchased the Temp Spike Twin and the first time I put it to work was on Thanksgving.
1 in the Bird and the 2nd in a chuck roast....then switched it to Salmon that was smoking in the Pellet Rig.....
It worked beautifully. never lost connection, no issues with power running out ....very happy with the performance
I preferred just reading the ambient and meat temps on the display screen. Many options for recording the cook, alarms etc.
I previously had the had the Meater+ and was not impressed...losing the signal was a constant battle AND using your phone was a fixed requirement...
just my 2 cents
So happy with the purchase I am considering an additional Twin pack, that would give me 4 wireless probes....it would help when I use the Pellet Rig; I have very little confidence in the accuracy of the temp readings (ambient or probes) on the NexGrill Oakford Cabinet.

I told them the same thing about expanding the app to handle more probes - received the same response, they would pass it along. They didn't seem particularly interested. So... ok.

I was planning to use the display on the module...it cycles between the food temp and meat temp....I prefer not to use my phone. Do you see any probs with that?? RichieB realdocBBQ

Bad Hat BBQ, I can't answer that as I only have the probes (pre twin). So my only option to see temps is via the app. And as noted 3 is the limit with the app. You might want to contact them. They are responsive, I just didn't like the answer.

OUTDOOR COOKERS
BBQ ACCESSORIES
WOOD & PELLET PREFERENCES
SOUS VIDE
INDOOR COOKWARE
Although I don't use it a lot, I've been happy with mine. The result next to my conventional wired probes is somewhat off but not enough to be problematic. Good value for the money.
