    Thanks for sharing. Any experience with meat from Aldi? Beef and pork rib deals have me interested but haven’t been to an Aldi in many years.

      awsop Meat at Aldi seems fairly good, although like most mid-range to small food stores, I can't generally vouch for their supply chain. But what I have gotten from them has been more than acceptable.

      I'm about to go over to Aldi and look at their ribs, both pork and beef. Who knows what could happen?

        awsop All of the meat we have bought from Aldi in the Chicago area has been excellent, though we are not typically buying ribs and briskets and other BBQ items. I think you will be pleased all the same.

          These seem nice enough, and this afternoon I will bag them and get them into a sous vide bath. After that, to the freezer, to wait until time is right for a bit of smoke.​
