Great Deals On Meat At Kroger

What's on sale for you? For me it's BOGO pork loins and Boston butts. The other one that stood out to me was a digital coupon for $1.99 fresh chicken wings.

I load up on the pork tenderloins when they go to $1.99/lb or BOGO. Also, both of my local Krogers have had 10lb. bags of fresh chicken leg quarters for $7.90 for several weeks now. I have no more room in my freezer that I want to use for chicken at this point.

Still waiting for those 2-packs of baby back ribs to show up again. They were reasonably priced, not super cheap, but really good.

I haven't seen Nolan Ryan shoulder, but it has to be the toughest piece of meat in the whole store.

I did find pork spare ribs at Food Lion for $1.79lb, while they lost. 10am only 2 packs in store. I split that with a senior lady.

I got some corned beef point for $2.99 and a whole brisket for $3.99 at Fred Meyers today.

There are no Kroger markets anywhere near here, but they apparently deliver in this area from a “fulfillment center” in northeast San Antonio. Curious.

This may be relevant, not sure if the pricing carries over into subsidiaries if you don't have an actual Kroger nearby, but I've seen some pretty good prices on meat in some non-Kroger operations as well (Meijer last week):

Well, I went to Kroger at lunch and dropped $74, and my receipt shows I saved $59 on my purchase! What I came back with:

- 2 Boston butts
- 1 pork loin (half loin actually)
- 5 pounds of fresh chicken wings
- 5 packs of Johnsonville brats at $2.99 each
- Lunchmeat
- Frozen fish

I bought nothing that was not on sale. And bought nothing but MEAT! Yeah baby!
