    Pork Butt Alert!!

    Greetings fellow Pit Peeps!

    This weekend, March 3, 4 & 5 (only) our local Winn Dixie has "Bone-in Pork Shoulder Boston Butt Roast" for $0.99/pound! (Limit 2 - will be going back until freezer is full )

    Not sure how widely this price is being honored, nor how far you're willing to drive to get this bargain, but WHOOP! there it is

            Same deal here in Orlando. They had the same deal 3 weeks ago, and we each got one on Saturday afternoon. They still had a whole bin full at that time.

              smokenoob -- curious here, do you dry brine or wet brine? Have you tried injecting? We dissolve some rub in warm/hot brine, cool in fridge then inject that puppy

              nunyaz I just usually dry brine overnight. I think I trimmed 2 pounds of fat out of mine
