I can’t believe this, but for the B&B Competition Charcoal Logs, Walmart is over 3 times the price of Academy for the same 30 lb bag!

    ACADEMY - $16.99

is that Wal-Mart pricing, or a third-party seller going through the Wal-Mart site?

        It’s a 3rd party, but still.

I think everything was fine until Mr. Just-placed-orders-for-a-total-of-24-bags broke their algorithm

I feel sorry for the poor UPS and FedEx drivers who have to tote and unload all of these bags of charcoal.

CaptainMike Seth, our UPS driver and Dom our FexEx driver are use to it. Charcoal, pellets, worm castings, etc… They always gets a big Christmas tip and generally a couple of good steaks for them and their wives as an occasional thank you for heavy loads.

not at that price when I just looked. In a related story, define this logic?

I might not be a very good math-er, but I can math the heck out of that one! I've seen that on Amazon occasionally, but it's usually a bit more subtle.

Same here and me too. I'm not holding my breath for tomorrow's delivery, but it would be pretty cool if it happens.

I was just able to order 4 bags at the $9.99 per bag sale price. Had to get 4 for the free shipping. Time to start planning some cooks now…

Talk about a win for the day. I always buy 2 when I get them at my Ace, but their $17 / bag.

Thanks for sharing! Just ordered 5. Saturday delivery would be great, though I am doubtful about that. I'm heading out of town on Monday. Can't imagine my wife and kids will be too happy if they have to bring them into the garage while I'm gone.
