Cheap vacuum sealer

For folks living near a BJs club warehouse, I stumbled on a pretty good deal if you're looking for a cheap vacuum sealer. I swore I would never buy a vacuum sealer again after owning a couple of mid priced Food Savers that didn't work very well after about year but while going to buy some chicken in bulk I spotted the PowerDuoXL NutriSealer on sale for 35 dollars but the sale ends today. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but for 35 dollars I will give a shot. I watched a few videos and it seems ok. It comes with 4 rolls of bags and an attachment for resealable bags.

Don't buy a cheap vacuum sealer, you'll only spend more money later buying another one.

I actually watched an infomercial on this vacuum sealer over the weekend. They sure marketed this great on television but when I went online to look at reviews for it the average review was 1.4 stars out of five. I hope it works out for you it isn't one of the lemons.

Just a quick up date on this vacuum sealer. So far I have sealed about 10 bags and it has worked better then any food saver I have every owned(that's not saying much). I will admit that it does work now but I am pretty sure the components are probably a low quality. It is also hard to close the top and look it but that does keep the bag in place when lifting up to seal liquids. I would recommend this for occasional use(at the discounted price) and not for sealing large quantities in one session with as I am sure pump would over heat.
Pros:
1. Light Weight
2. Easy to set the bag to seal
3. With the open top design it can easily to make multi pouch bags
4. It was only 35 dollars
5. Double seam seal
Cons:
1. Light Weight, the plastic housing feels like it will break if I ever drop it.
2. The top is hard to close, although it does get easier once you figure it out.
3. No on off switch

No on/off switch? It just starts running when you plug it in??

My vac sealer is the same way, plug it in and then start working. Mine is a cabelas brand. And it’s been excellent!

Bad Hat BBQ I was leaning to the one without roll to save space in the RV. I could buy precut bags or just precut some myself on my foodsaver with a built in roll. My RV is tiny……19’11” 😁 🚌
